THE VOLCANOES.

This is an amazing experience a unique walk through lava fields, young craters, providing a large span of shapes and colours. Finding Lichens and colonizing plants in extreme conditions. The extent of the lava fields are incredible. To hear the history of the eruptions, they must have had such a hard time and what a fight. They are so knowledgeable.

THE NORTH: LA CORONA VOLCANO AND FAMARA CLIFF

This area is the greenest part of the island, Just the drive up to the starting point is a pleasure. La Corona is a huge single cone volcano and its depth is impressive. Then get ready for the views of your life. Plus it is surprising the different fauna in this part of the island and how re-colonizing has evolved.

LA GRACIOSA ISLAND

This is the island you see from La Corona, a true desert Island. Robert Luis Stephen-son sat on the cliffs watching La Graciosa and started to write Treasure Island. If you wish to take a day off from windsurfing this has to be a must. It is like traveling back in time as it is a nature reserve and there can be no development there. So peaceful.

Here we have a very pleasant tour starting at the club and taking you to the wild side. The tour takes you away from civilization into the quiet, incredibly it only takes 15 minutes and you are away from everything. The snack break is in a traditional salt works (salinas) with a lovely small harbor where you can even go for a swim. You can go windsurfing after if you have the energy.
