It starts with our daily search through the weather websites to work out the current weather forecasts and use this with our local knowledge to predict what will happen through the day.

We then plan all the activities for the day, making the best use of all the conditions. All material is checked before it goes on the water and you are given a briefing depending on the material you are using and the sailing area you will be sailing in.

When we have people on the water we have a person on our roof terrace with binoculars following everyone on the water with radio contact to all of the boats.

Safety is not just about rescuing you when something goes wrong but about prevention. So we will place you in the correct position before something goes wrong. We run 2 rescue boats so all areas can be covered.

We also have a Cruz Roja station and lifeguard in Las Cucharas which gives us added security and rapid support if there are an injurys. Plus those ever grateful extra eyes. Lanzarote also has Salvamar with there large search and rescue boats and helicopter if ever it was necessary to use them.
