Las cucharas offers both flat water and wave sailing at the same time.

We chose this spot for its unusual conditions.
The area naturally gives a variety of conditions, making it perfect for families or people of different levels.

The launch area is from a sandy beach with in the bay.
The flat water in the bay is perfect for beginners and training maneuvers.

With the NE trade winds giving side shore condition from the, left means that we have a calm area on the left.
Your windsurfing area can be within 500 m square which makes it very safe and easy.

When there are waves we have the beginners experiencing windsurfing for the first time in the safe areas in the bay with our instructor whilst others are getting to grips with planning, foot-straps and water-start at the mouth of the bay.

Your natural exit of the bay takes you into long undulating waves.
As you go upwind the wind gets stronger and you have a chance to experience breaking waves on the reformed waves from the outer reef.
The outer reef is safe and will give challenging conditions for the most experienced sailors.
